Level I Certification Through Coaching
 
The purpose of these coaching classes is to obtain Level I Certification through real-time coaching. The classes consist of 3 two-hour WebEx classes hosted by Rodney Cox, Dave and Dawn Lind. Between the classes, each participant will complete various assignments.

Upon completion of Level I Certification, you will:

  1. Become a Level I Certified Practitioner
  2. You will gain the biblical foundation that anchors the profiles
  3. Learn how to interpret and apply the four inescapable areas of differences
  4. Gain confidence for interpreting the profiles with your clients
  5. Recognize the dynamic applications of the various profile sections
  6. Discover the four sources of stress that cause strength movement
  7. Acquire valuable insights from eight additional support resources
  8. Be equipped as a leader to use the profiles with individuals and teams
  9. Obtain life applications for teams on the Strength Wheel
  10. Receive a Level I Certified certificate for display

Rodney Cox
Rodney Cox - Founder Ministry Insights

Rodney will guide you through the first 2 hour WebEx class to transfer the key biblical concepts that anchor the various profiles. He will also guide you through how to interpret and apply the four inescapable areas of differences.

Rodney Cox is one of the country's emerging leaders in the strengths movement. He is an author with such titles as Leading From Your Strengths (3 book series), Love and Money, Different By Design, The Discovery Kit and Incredible Creatures Adventure Kit (DVD Series) that have touched more than 325,000 church leaders, teams, couples and children worldwide.

Rodney is president and founder of Ministry Insights International and is dedicated to serving Christian organizations and individuals by providing products and services designed to help build strong leaders, teams, marriages, and families. A prominent, gregarious speaker and a man after Gods own heart, Rodney is universally characterized by friends, colleagues, and clients as one of the most insightful men in the strengths movement today.

Rodney and his wife, Elizabeth, have been married for 28 years and live in Scottsdale, Arizona and they have two grown daughters.


Dave & Dawn Lind
Dave & Dawn Lind - Focus on Purpose

Dave and Dawn Lind are the certified trainers for Leading From Your Strengths® assessments (Level I).

With a master’s degree in teaching, Dawn was an adjunct professor at the University of Vermont prior to becoming a certified professional life coach. She is a graduate of Coach University and a member of International Coach Federation (ICF). Dawn holds coaching certifications through the International Coach Federation (ICF- PCC), Christian Coaches Network (CPCC), International Association of Coaches (IAC-CC) and Coachville (CVCC).

Dave, with a background in electrical engineering, has been a pastor since 1981 and has a weekly TV ministry. He has earned a Masters of Ministry degree and has attended ILCT (The Institute for Life Coach Training). He is a 2003 graduate of Ministry Advantage - a pastor’s coaching system for intensive coaching and training in strategic and leadership systems. In 2005, he was featured in Leadership Journal Magazine as a “turn around church” pastor.

Married in 1975, Dawn and Dave have three sons, two daughters-in-law and two grandchildren. They reside in beautiful New England.

Level I Certification

The Level I Certification is designed to give you the knowledge needed to read and understand the profile graphs and charts. This in-depth advanced training can be obtained in two ways, listed below, and will cover the following.


I. Acquire graph reading skills for the profiles:

  • Delineate the eight zone strength scales
  • Reveal how scores dynamically impact wording of the profiles
  • Discover four sources of stress that may cause strength movement
  • Differentiate between the natural and adapted scores on the Strength Wheel

II. Gain insights from the profiles:

  • Explain the core message of transforming relationships
  • Highlight specific sections on the profiles
  • Develop a pattern of interpreting the profiles with your clients
  • State behavioral implications of the adapted style on the natural style

III. Obtain life applications with the profiles:

  • Consider various seminar/workshop training models
  • Gain team building exercises using the Strength Wheel
  • Become familiar with eight support resource tools
  • Prepare for questions on Unusual Patterns

IV. Administrate various profile options:

  • Consider four customized profile options
  • Acquire procedure to purchase discounted profiles
  • Choose instant or delayed profile deliver options
  • Understand benefits of purchasing response links for your clients
